A unique pendant inspired by a Minoan seal-stone.
Seal-stones were small, carved artworks that decorated a ring or a pendant. Their owners, important individuals of considerable wealth or power, used them as a kind of signature when writing letters, and to guarantee that the objects they sealed were tamper-proof. Moreover, various magical, medical, and astrological properties were attributed to them in ancient times. Each seal-stone was unique: a collector’s item that was passed from one generation to the next, denoting power and prestige.
