Large ring of Minoan honeybee

A large adjustable ring depicting a Minoan honeybee, inspired by an ancient Minoan seal-stone.
Seal-stones were small, unique pieces of art. They were invaluable to their owners, since they could guarantee that the objects they sealed were tamper-proof.
Bees appear on many seal-stones, being symbols of fertility, wealth, female beauty, and the circle of life. Seen from another angle, the ring also seems to depict a womb, a more direct symbol of fertility.
Made of Cretan clay, handmade and hand-painted.
