Kylix shallow of bichrome ware

The kylix was a type of drinking cup popular in Ancient Greece, mostly used for drinking wine, though it did occasionally have other uses. Kylixes were wide and shallow with two handles placed opposite one another. Their bottom was almost completely flat, and it provided the main surface for painting decorations. This cup features four concentric circles painted inside, as well as other geometric shapes on the sides.
It is a handmade museum-quality plaster replica that has been painted by hand.
