Bracelet with set of Mycenaean Roses

Sterling Silver 925 bracelet with set of seven Mycenaean twelve-leaf Roses.

Inspired by a piece of jewelry that was discovered at Mycenae and dates back to about 1500 B.C. The bracelet consists of seven roses (decorative twelve-leaf versions of the flower) which are connected to one another with two small links.
It is believed that roses represented the wild flowers themselves; to this day, they are used in a purely symbolic manner. Roses can be found in many Ancient Greek murals, sculptures, and intricate pieces of jewelry. They are symbols of beauty, purity, fertility, worship, and strength.

Handmade, with a 925 sterling silver clasp. Sent in a package with a velvet pouch.
